
Gentle or slow yoga offers postures with slower movement and gentler practice than a regular yoga class. The class moves slowly through different postures which are standing, seated yoga on chairs and on the yoga mat. Practicing a chair yoga class in Abingdon will keep you active and flexible as your body ages and aches.
Gentle yoga classes will suit people who would like to exercise, but find they are less flexible and mobile due to bone health, age, weight and other physical challenges.
We can adapt postures for your level and energy.
Men and women are welcome to join – bring along your wife, husband, brother or friend to help them get fitter and more flexible.
We use props in the class – a chair, wall, strap, blocks to help our practice get better and your body to feel supported.
